Sometimes I can be so obsessive compulsive. This was one of those obsessions. After the first few days of school, we had already received over 20 pages of AP U.S. reading, and I was completely shocked and surprised by this huge workload. Thus, I decided to keep a log of how long I was spending on AP U.S. homework as a representation of the difficulty of college-level freshman courses and college courses in general. I am still continuing this log, though I have not yet done my homework for tonight (Thursday, March 30, 2006). So far, besides the writing projects, the longest single assignment was on September 15, 2005, and the shortest assignment was on October 17, 2005. I did not count the March 6, 2006 assignment as the longest because I actually combined several nights of reading into one night, so it was not a single assignment. I only time my AP U.S. homework time when I do an assignment at home. There were many assignments which I did in school or finished in school. AP U.S. History is a beastly course. Good luck to everyone!
