Often, my brain muses about random things. Sometimes, the musings are interesting. Many of these topics don't warrant a journal entry, but if I don't write them down, I usually forget about them. Thus, I created this page so that I could jot down fleeting thoughts. And I thought, I'm sure others have similar random musings and I'd be curious to hear about them, too. So feel free to post about anything.
| Erwa | I was thinking a similar banner would be very appropriate for this page, too. Want to make one for me :) ? | Thu, 2010-04-15, 5:26pm CDT |
| Andy | You know, the new title page you put up was the kind of thing I had wanted to put together for Random Thoughts banner. | Tue, 2010-04-13, 8:24am CDT |
| Erwa | He still would never be pro sauce. Luck turns sour sometimes. | Mon, 2010-04-12, 5:05pm CDT |
| Andy | What if a beginner could stay a beginner and milk the beginner's luck forever? | Sun, 2010-04-11, 6:20pm CDT |
| Andy | I'll work on it. | Fri, 2010-04-02, 11:45am CDT |
| Erwa | Yo, I *could*, but I think it would be more meaningful to put up a banner you made :). | Thu, 2010-04-01, 8:52pm CDT |
| Andy | You should steal shamelessly from this: http://joepalmer.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/random.jpg | Tue, 2010-03-30, 8:06am CDT |
| Andy | You could. Let me put that down on my list of things to do. | Sat, 2010-03-27, 9:39pm CDT |
| Erwa | I could use a new banner for this page :). | Sat, 2010-03-27, 10:49am CDT |
| Andy | lol. | Thu, 2010-03-25, 6:55am CDT |
| Erwa | In general day-to-day situations, gas is expanding to fill a container that is not a vacuum, nor thermally isolated. | Wed, 2010-03-24, 10:48pm CDT |
| Erwa | Lol, Joule expansion is a very specific form of gas expansion, from one half of a thermally isolated container into the other side, which is initially evacuated. | Wed, 2010-03-24, 10:47pm CDT |
| Andy | I was just referring to a joule expansion, shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joule_expansion | Tue, 2010-03-23, 7:39pm CDT |
| Erwa | Hmm, according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adiabatic_process it seems a gas does do work when expanding. "Pressure-volume work dW done by the system is defined as dW = P * dV", and since the gas is expanding, dV is positive, and thus the system does do work. | Tue, 2010-03-23, 7:27pm CDT |
| Andy | Well of course. But gas expansion itself does zero work. Which I find amusing. | Tue, 2010-03-23, 7:56am CDT |
| Erwa | Hmm, I think it depends on the situation. For example, in the combustion that happens inside a car engine, gas expansion pushes against a piston, so the gas is doing work while expanding. | Mon, 2010-03-22, 9:15pm CDT |
| Andy | I was right! http://www.chem.arizona.edu/~salzmanr/480a/480ants/jadjte/jadjte.html | Fri, 2010-03-19, 6:38am CDT |
| Andy | That's funny, because expansion does no work, if i recall correctly. | Fri, 2010-03-19, 6:37am CDT |
| Erwa | Heh, one of life's weird paradoxes. Work is like a gas: it expands to fill its free space container. | Sun, 2010-03-14, 9:28pm CDT |
| Andy | I thought I'd have a lot of free time without gaming but I actually still don't have A LOT of free time. Funny how life works. | Wed, 2010-03-10, 9:44am CST |
| Erwa | Yeah, me too. I wanna be crazy as you, too. | Sun, 2010-02-14, 1:20pm CST |
| Andy | I read that book, Boxer. I gotta say. It's pretty good. | Sun, 2010-02-14, 9:37am CST |
| Boxer | Crazy As Me. http://boxerbiography.blogspot.com/ | Thu, 2010-02-11, 2:07am CST |
| Andy | I think you're crazy... I think you're crazy... I think you're crazy... just like me. | Wed, 2010-02-10, 2:51pm CST |
| Andy | Who do you, who do you, who do you think you are? | Wed, 2010-02-10, 2:51pm CST |
| Erwa | Go for it, Andy! I know you can do it. | Tue, 2010-02-02, 1:26pm CST |
| Andy | I guess her doubts are expected; I'm going from 15 credits last semester where I didn't do so hot, to 21 credits this semester. But it's okay. I will work hard and prove them wrong and most importantly, prove to myself that I am capable of accomplishing what I want to accomplish. | Wed, 2010-01-27, 6:51pm CST |
| Andy | So my school has this system, where if you want to overload on credits, you have to go talk to Engineering Advising, and today I went. The advisor took a look at my past grades and she was like... I'm really skeptical about this. I thought I'd be in there for like 1 minute for her to sign it and give me the okay to go ahead and overload, but I ended up spending ~15 minutes talking to her about grades and how I will handle it, etc. | Wed, 2010-01-27, 6:51pm CST |
| Andy | I'd imagine that most people who wear contacts don't rub their eyes such that the contacts move around. Contacts are pretty malleable, though, so I don't think any rubbing will damage them. | Tue, 2010-01-26, 12:02pm CST |
| Erwa | If you wear contacts and your eyes itch, does rubbing your eyes move your contacts all around and/or damage them at all? | Mon, 2010-01-25, 3:32pm CST |
| Erwa | Mmm...yeah, I think playing a string instrument is a great way to toughen the skin at the tips of your fingers. | Mon, 2010-01-25, 3:31pm CST |
| Andy | And then play a string instrument. :) | Thu, 2010-01-21, 6:33pm CST |
| Erwa | Haha, I think you'd have to do it more often than that to toughen your fingers. | Sun, 2010-01-17, 4:28pm CST |
| Andy | Just have an accident every time you cut your nails. | Sat, 2010-01-16, 9:26pm CST |
| Erwa | Hah, I think that takes too long and requires too much pain and endurance. | Thu, 2010-01-14, 12:57am CST |
| Andy | Yes, but if you cut it too short all the time, your finger gets used to being tender and becomes immune to the feel. | Tue, 2010-01-12, 11:13am CST |
| Andy | I guess not. It's more like a receding hairline. Or maybe I just have a really high hairline. | Tue, 2010-01-12, 11:12am CST |
| Erwa | It's always annoying when you accidentally cut a fingernail too short and then the tip of your finger is tender for a few days. | Tue, 2010-01-12, 12:03am CST |
| Erwa | Yo, no wayz. So early? Is it really noticeable? | Mon, 2010-01-11, 8:09pm CST |
| Andy | I am balding, but its okay. | Sun, 2010-01-10, 5:48pm CST |
| Erwa | Hah. I'm surprised there's never been spam in this chatterbox, even though it basically works the same way as the other chatterbox. BTW, the primitive spam catching code has not been applied to this chatterbox. | Sat, 2010-01-02, 8:55pm CST |
| Andy | I had a dream that I was reading your spam catcher code and it only caught one type of spam. And in the dream, I was like, dude, Anthony. What is this crap? You can't catch any spam like this. | Thu, 2009-12-31, 9:40pm CST |
| Erwa | Apparently, the Zagat rating system is a 30-point scale, so I think the score would be more telling. But if a restaurant appears in Zagat, it generally means a lot of people have already been there so it's established and fairly popular. Maybe all the restaurants on Charles St are just really popular and well-established. | Thu, 2009-12-31, 10:13am CST |
| Andy | Random thought: Zagat is a restaurant review company, and many of the restaurants on Charles Street here in Baltimore have a label that says, "Zagat Approved," or something along those lines. While its cool that a service like this exists, I find it interesting how that a label saying Zagat Reviewed or Zagat Approved seems to bolster the restaurant's credibility and reliability. On the other hand, it also works against itself, since almost every restaurant posts that sticker. | Wed, 2009-12-30, 10:07am CST |
| Andy | Oh SHIT son. I totally forgot about that. Let me mark that down somewhere so I remember to do it. | Sun, 2009-12-27, 11:14am CST |
| Erwa | Hey, still waiting for that new Random Thoughts banner :). | Wed, 2009-12-23, 9:09pm CST |
| Andy | Yo we're so cool. | Sun, 2009-12-13, 6:34pm CST |
| Erwa | Yo, we're cool like that. | Sun, 2009-12-13, 12:37am CST |
| Andy | I like how we alternate posting here and on your main page. | Sat, 2009-12-12, 7:57pm CST |
| Andy | I am cranking out some hardcore research. Currently planning six hours every day. The other 18 hours of my day will be devoted to sleeping, breaking, chilling with whoever is here, and other personal projects. | Wed, 2009-12-09, 10:44pm CST |
| Erwa | What would you do if you just hung at Hopkins over break? Or would you stay at your sister's apartment? | Wed, 2009-12-09, 12:03am CST |
| Erwa | That definitely does not qualify as an FML. You are seriously overexaggerating. | Wed, 2009-12-09, 12:02am CST |
| Andy | I am incredibly cold after getting a haircut. FML. | Mon, 2009-12-07, 9:30pm CST |
| Andy | I am staying at Hopkins, probably. I might visit schools. | Mon, 2009-12-07, 9:30pm CST |
| Erwa | Eh? Does that mean you're staying at Hopkins all winter break or visiting schools the whole break? | Mon, 2009-12-07, 5:06pm CST |
| Andy | Yo so it looks like I'm not going to be going home at all for winter break. | Mon, 2009-12-07, 11:20am CST |
| Erwa | Ahahaha you're totally right about that. Work and extracurricular activities are just consuming my life ahhhh. | Sat, 2009-12-05, 12:24pm CST |
| Andy | Nice fix. The only other problem now is that you don't post enough. :) | Sat, 2009-12-05, 3:48am CST |
| Andy | I've only gotten random sounds from this page, and also popups from the main page. I've decided not to go to Boston. Definitely better to visit during the semester. | Fri, 2009-12-04, 1:43pm CST |
| Erwa | Do you mean the homepage - erwaman.php or this page specifically (randomthoughts.php)? I've never seen popups on this page, but on the homepage, yeah, Firefox warns me it's prevented popups from showing - I think it's probably from the alternative chatterbox I've installed - I'll look into getting rid of it. | Fri, 2009-12-04, 12:55pm CST |
| Erwa | Cool. My last two finals aren't until 12/17 and 12/18 (Friday), so I'd come after that. Hmm, though it might be more fun to visit during the semester when there are more things going on than just the Harvard Finals Club (haha). | Fri, 2009-12-04, 12:53pm CST |
| Andy | BTW, this page has weird ass music popups. | Fri, 2009-12-04, 12:08pm CST |
| Andy | I'm done with finals after the 15th, but if you want to come I'll have to ask my friend if you can stay with us. I'm trying to avoid staying with Lulu because she's taking exams from 17th to 21st and I don't want to distract her too much. Then again, I might not go if its too expensive. | Fri, 2009-12-04, 1:01am CST |
| Erwa | Yo, really? When is this? Maybe we can go together and also go back to NJ together. | Thu, 2009-12-03, 11:35pm CST |
| Andy | Yes! I am right now planning to visit Harvard after finals, but I'll definitely be around! | Thu, 2009-12-03, 6:14am CST |
| Erwa | Aw, thanks Andy. But there are enthusiastic and excited people everywhere! You just need to find them. But I really miss hanging out with you, like having random SSB or SC sessions in the library or playing tennis. Let's make a plan to definitely meet over winter break. | Wed, 2009-12-02, 2:50pm CST |
| Andy | I miss your direct, honest, and often humorous interactions with other people. It's just not the same when I am the only one that is enthusiastic and excited about something. | Wed, 2009-12-02, 2:31pm CST |
| Andy | is super stressed out from studying for exams that are incredibly ambiguous. Also hopes that Erwa will get through it. | Wed, 2009-12-02, 2:30pm CST |
| Erwa | is super stressed out from work that's piled up. | Sun, 2009-11-29, 1:06pm CST |
| Andy | Don't lie. | Thu, 2009-11-05, 10:39pm CST |
| Erwa | is dying from work. | Thu, 2009-11-05, 6:31am CST |
| Andy | Happy birthday! | Mon, 2009-10-26, 2:09am CDT |
| Andy | Howdyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy | Wed, 2009-10-07, 10:14pm CDT |
| Andy | I'll try to take a video. I don't know what they look like. | Wed, 2009-09-30, 7:09am CDT |
| Erwa | W00t!!! Windmills look really cool, too :D! | Tue, 2009-09-29, 7:06pm CDT |
| Andy | I started clearing my windmills!!!! :D Having legit windmills feels so close after so many months of on and off trying/failing! | Tue, 2009-09-29, 3:45pm CDT |
| Erwa | LOLOLOL I did not notice that typo even when I read over my post. Yeah, at least for me, when I think a word, I hear it being said inside my head, and "year" looks more like the sound for year/ear than "ear" does, so sometimes my brain probably translates the year/ear sound to "year" when I mean "ear." | Mon, 2009-09-28, 9:24pm CDT |
| Andy | An interesting question about interesting question. I too, make the mistake of typing "year" instead of ear. Is that because when we're typing, we're saying the words in our head and the finger motions for "year" and "ear" are so close and similar that our brain gets confused by the homophone? Haha. | Mon, 2009-09-28, 12:30pm CDT |
| Erwa | Interesting question. To really test this, you'd have to use headphones and send different sounds into each year. If you're not using headphones, then the mixed info is entering both ears and it's up to the brain to filter and comprehend multiple threads. | Sat, 2009-09-26, 11:07pm CDT |
| Andy | Is it possible to be ambi-hearing? If you can be ambi-dexterous, can you hear different things from the left and right ears at the same time? Is it possible to listen from say one ear; Chinese, and the other ear, English and still comprehend and process the information? | Sat, 2009-09-26, 8:52pm CDT |
| Andy | Your spine will likely lean to the opposite side, because you're most likely OVERcompensating for the weight. | Sat, 2009-09-19, 1:29am CDT |
| Erwa | Right, but my question was which side you'd be likely to get scoliosis? Will your spine lean toward the side you carry the backpack or toward the other side, which you lean toward to compensate for the weight. | Fri, 2009-09-18, 2:24pm CDT |
| Andy | Uh the name came out weird, that's actually me. | Thu, 2009-09-17, 9:51am CDT |
| Erwaou will | So usually what happens is that if you wear a heavy backpack on one side to be "cool," you'll overcompensate for the weight via leaning the other way. So you will indeed get scoliosis. | Thu, 2009-09-17, 9:51am CDT |
| Erwa | Well, I was thinking, does wearing your backpack, say, on your right shoulder, make you more likely to have scoliosis where your spine is curved to the right or to the left? Your backpack's on your right shoulder, so that would tend to apply force downward causing your spine to bend toward the right but when you're wearing your backpack, to counterbalance the weight on the right, you lean toward the left, raising your right shoulder and actually bending your spine toward the left. What happens? | Wed, 2009-09-16, 3:28pm CDT |
| Erwa | Hmm, so you know how they say you shouldn't wear your backpack on just one shoulder because the weight's unbalanced? | Wed, 2009-09-16, 3:26pm CDT |
| Andy | That sounds really strange and.. just strange. | Sun, 2009-09-13, 10:16am CDT |
| Erwa | Heh. So I think people can puncture Goku's skin because he's pure at heart and other people pure at heart can puncture Goku if he's let them. | Fri, 2009-09-11, 8:08am CDT |
| Andy | LOL they never had this in the original comics. | Tue, 2009-09-08, 4:49pm CDT |
| Erwa | Read this section here: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Goku#Appearance_and_personality | Mon, 2009-09-07, 9:56pm CDT |
| Andy | I actually didn't get that reference. When was Goku scared of needles..? | Mon, 2009-09-07, 9:19am CDT |
| Erwa | Whoohoo! Yo, I was just thinking, how can a needle puncture Goku's skin if bullets just bounce off him? | Sun, 2009-09-06, 4:25pm CDT |
| Andy | JHU starcraft lives on in the hands of another coordinator! Yay! | Sun, 2009-09-06, 2:54pm CDT |
| Erwa | I totally agree! People (myself included) seem so focused on their own activities and don't seem to care much what others are doing. | Fri, 2009-09-04, 12:35pm CDT |
| Andy | Many of the people you meet in college are transient. They are merely acquaintances. I find it more difficult to find true friends rather than acquaintances in college. | Thu, 2009-09-03, 5:38pm CDT |
| Andy | Haha, I don't have them yet. =( | Sun, 2009-08-30, 10:19pm CDT |
| Erwa | Shoot a video of you doing an air chair (or take a picture) and set it as your profile pic! | Sun, 2009-08-30, 9:24am CDT |
| Andy | Uh, if you want to video chat sometime I can show you. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 6:54pm CDT |
| Erwa | That said, how do you even position your elbows behind you to stab into your back? I'm twisting my arms to try to figure out how you would do it but I can't see how. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 4:58pm CDT |
| Erwa | I think we should post our random thoughts here, but we should also have discussions about our random thoughts! The discussions are the more interesting part. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 4:53pm CDT |
| Erwa | I agree. Communicating with you through this site is easier than using email :D. But communicating with you in RL would be even better. Come visit! | Thu, 2009-08-27, 4:51pm CDT |
| Erwa | Haha, I am definitely not worrying. I'm probably more worried (or would just rather not have to deal with) if my parents see this site and don't like the info I post here. But I'm glad my parents don't really butt in on my cyberlife and just give me general advice to be wary of what I post. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 4:49pm CDT |
| Andy | I was walking to my bike today and I was thinking about how I have bruises on both my stomach and my back: stomach from stabbing for windmills, and back from stabbing for air chairs. The one in my back is especially painful, but I notice that the one in my front is not as bad. I think this is because I already had a bruise in my front from back when I was doing windmills, and this is the second bruise, so it doesn't hurt as much. I guess at some point I'll develop godlike muscles there, haha. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 12:34pm CDT |
| Andy | I like how we're having a conversation rather than posting random thoughts. Let me post a random thought. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 12:32pm CDT |
| Andy | Lol dont' stress yourself over some security for this site. People DEFINITELY have bigger fish to fry and few people visit this site regularly. I visit your pages almost every single day. I think this is a good way for us to keep in contact. :D | Thu, 2009-08-27, 12:32pm CDT |
| Erwa | I am looking forward to the new Random Thoughts banner you (and/or others) design! | Thu, 2009-08-27, 9:28am CDT |
| Erwa | Haha, just like cubing. When algs are executed smoothly, fluidly, without delays, it feels so good. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 9:27am CDT |
| Erwa | Awwww - when I meet her in RL, I will ask her about your FB invite. And I will try to persuade her to friend you. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 9:25am CDT |
| Erwa | Oh, and I was thinking if I had time I would figure out how if I could record the IP address of everyone who posted in my PHP chatterbox. I wouldn't display this info; I would just keep it for my own records in case I got curious who was who and wanted to look someone up. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 9:24am CDT |
| Erwa | Lol, well, I could put put a login system over everything in this "secure" folder (which really isn't secure at all), but then people would have to sign up to see these pages and that seems a bit too annoying. I live under the assumption no hacker is gonna waste his time trying to pwn my site. They all have bigger fish to fry I expect. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 9:22am CDT |
| Andy | Swipes feel so good when you do them right. Moves must feel good when its executed correctly. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 1:11am CDT |
| Andy | I guess she ignored it. Ah well. I got a kick out of it anyways. XD XD. | Thu, 2009-08-27, 1:10am CDT |
| Andy | I reserve the right to recruit outside help for this banner. XD | Wed, 2009-08-26, 3:05pm CDT |
| Andy | Aye, aye, sir. I shall get working on that Random Thoughts banner. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 3:00pm CDT |
| Andy | I really hope I know whether Lisa Wang accepts my friend invite or not, haha. I'm really interested to see what would happen. Even though she'd probably just ignore it. But oh well, it was totally worth the lols. What a kick I got out of it. :D | Wed, 2009-08-26, 2:59pm CDT |
| Andy | You should get better security. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 2:58pm CDT |
| Erwa | Oh, and I'm expecting my new Random Thoughts banner pic from you. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 1:02pm CDT |
| Erwa | Don't worry, character caps are already in place as a safety precaution. But I sometimes think about how poor the security is on my site and how any half-decent hacker tried, they could probably inject all sorts of malicious viruses onto the site's pages, completely reck these chatterbox scripts, and probably completely mess up all the colors and fonts on all the pages. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 1:01pm CDT |
| Andy | Don't worry man, I'll try not to spam it in a hax0r way. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 10:30am CDT |
| Erwa | I wouldn't have been surprised if after I mentioned there wasn't a character cap, you delivered some pwnage to this page. | Wed, 2009-08-26, 9:57am CDT |
| Erwa | Actually, I just decided it's bad practice to wait for something to happen before changing it. So I put maxlengths on these two text boxes of 30 and 500 characters. | Tue, 2009-08-25, 5:07pm CDT |
| Erwa | Yo, I totally agree with what you say about weather. When the weather is gloomy and dismal, so generally tends to be your mood. I look forward to hearing some of your RANDOM thoughts. P.S.: I just realized I didn't put a character cap on this text box nor the 'Name' text box. I guess I will leave it like this until someone decides to spam/hax0r my page. | Tue, 2009-08-25, 5:03pm CDT |
| Erwa | All right punk, why don't you design something fancy for me :). | Tue, 2009-08-25, 5:00pm CDT |
| Andy | By the way I dislike the random on top that you drew in a silly hax0r way. Design something fancier? | Tue, 2009-08-25, 12:12am CDT |
| Andy | I'm going to start writing random stuff here, since its RANDOM thoughts. | Tue, 2009-08-25, 12:12am CDT |
| Andy | Weather has such an enormous effect on someone's mood. Today, being out in the sunny afternoon with a soft breeze, biking; perfect weather. Felt so happy and joyful. | Tue, 2009-08-25, 12:11am CDT |
| Erwa | Yes, well, what can I say. Hey, I was thinking maybe if you hosted servers in Alaska, you wouldn't even need massive air conditioning for the servers - just open the windows and expose the room to the cold arctic air! | Mon, 2009-08-24, 1:52pm CDT |
| Andy | I love the fact that the server is located in Texas. | Mon, 2009-08-24, 12:27pm CDT |
| Andy | The word gross looks somewhat disgusting as well. | Mon, 2009-08-24, 12:26pm CDT |
| Erwa | Damn, this Java programming book has a freakin' long index. The index itself is 130 pages!!! | Sunday, April 26, 2009, 4:52 AM CDT |
| Chris | After reading your entry on being blind vs deaf and thinking a bit, I think I would also rather be blind. | Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 10:14 PM CDT |
| Chris | After reading your entry on being blind vs deaf and thinking a bit, I think I would also rather be blind. | Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 10:14 PM CDT |
| Chris | After reading your entry on being blind vs deaf and thinking a bit, I think I would also rather be blind. | Tuesday, April 21, 2009, 9:53 PM CDT |
| Erwa | 'Size' is a weird word. Just look at it for a while - size - and it'll start looking weird. | Thursday, March 26, 2009, 10:42 AM CDT |
| Erwa | I wonder how a colony reacts when a scout ant they send out never returns. | Saturday, March 21, 2009, 10:04 PM CDT |
| Erwa | @Chang Kai Chek: Yeah, sometimes I think I do have too much time. And I spend most of it playing games. I think I'll get more involved in extracurriculars. | Saturday, March 21, 2009, 10:04 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Ken, you should do whatever the hell you want with your life. Just make sure you have a good time. | Sunday, February 8, 2009, 10:42 AM CST |

| Ken | Does Anthony check this thing? Anyway here's the real thought: what should I do with my life and what courses should I take next semster? Crap, I need to pre-enroll on Tuesday. | Sunday, November 16, 2008, 8:33 PM CST |
| Erwa | I wonder who discovered circular breathing. | Monday, July 28, 2008, 5:39 PM CDT |
| Erwa | I like this line from Psalm 37: \"Leave off from wrath, and let go displeasure: fret not thyself, else shalt thou be moved to do evil.\" I'm easily frustrated, and I have to learn to just let the small things go sometimes. | Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 4:24 PM CDT |
| Erwa | It used to be that when I was posed the question, \"If you had to choose one, would you rather be blind or deaf?\" I'd choose deaf, so I could still cube and use a computer and read, etc. But now I think I'd much rather be blind. Music and laughter and sounds mean so much more to me. Being able to hear people around you. | Sunday, May 11, 2008, 10:12 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Yeah, when I do tedious things, my mind is probably only working at about 50% of its maximum capacity, and I mindlessly do the tedious task and then the time passes quickly without me tiring. | Monday, December 24, 2007, 12:14 AM CST |
| Time | Time is always an issue. If you don't think about it though, it won't be. | Thursday, December 20, 2007, 4:05 PM CST |
| Erwa | It's good to not mind doing tedious things, like me, if that's the case. | Thursday, December 13, 2007, 8:01 PM CST |
| Time | Life is a heck a lot of paperwork. | Sunday, November 25, 2007, 4:45 PM CST |

| Time | A knot tied too tightly breaks forever. | Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 10:31 PM CST |
| Erwa | Sleep is ridiculously important in affecting how your day turns out. I must sleep more in the future. | Sunday, November 18, 2007, 10:26 PM CST |
| Erwa | Indifferent people are worse than short-tempered or angry people. | Friday, November 2, 2007, 11:36 PM CDT |
| Erwa | I wish I could apply to the same school as two different people. One would be my real application, polished and well-refined. For the other, I want to be brutally honest, completely candid and blunt with a total disregard that I am writing a college application. I am curious of the responses each application would evoke from the admissions officers. | Monday, October 29, 2007, 11:42 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Maybe I multitask so much because of all the RTS game (mainly StarCraft) I play. | Monday, October 29, 2007, 12:25 AM CDT |
| Erwa | You know those days/times when you don't feel like doing anything? You just feel torpid and lethargic? Well, stretching is good, running is good, but now I think pleasure reading could be another wake-up option. | Saturday, September 22, 2007, 10:58 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Who needs box cutters? A ballpoint pen does the same trick :-). | Sunday, September 16, 2007, 9:39 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Oh, and the electric pencil sharpener trick works with manual crank pencil sharpeners, too. | Wednesday, September 5, 2007, 11:50 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Ah, there's nothing like cereal as a midnight snack...cereal is such a 24/7 food. | Wednesday, September 5, 2007, 11:49 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Nevermind. I found the penny. It was stuck in my wallet :-). | Wednesday, September 5, 2007, 10:02 PM CDT |
| Erwa | I found a penny outside Staples today and put it in my pocket, but when I got home, it was gone. I think it probably got stuck to a magnetic key I had in my pocket. | Monday, September 3, 2007, 11:56 PM CDT |
| Erwa | I wonder why spam always seems to appear right away as spam. Like there's always shouting and way too many exclamation points and run-on sentences and poor grammar and spelling. The messages are also really impersonable themselves. This amuses me because spam doesn't even seem to try to give an appearance of credibility. | Wednesday, August 29, 2007, 2:39 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Sometimes, usually when I'm with people, I just wonder how people would react if someone just started flying. | Friday, August 24, 2007, 11:02 PM CDT |
| Erwa | When using electrical pencil sharpeners - sometimes you only need to trim off a little wood on one side of the pencil tip because the graphite is exposed on all other sides. The way to trim just that one side of wood is to turn the pencil so that the wood is facing up and insert the pencil while gently pressing down on the pencil. Slowly push deeper until you hear the wood trimmed. View progress and make further trimmings as necessary, always remembering to keep the part that needs trimming facing up and pushing down on the pencil. | Wednesday, August 22, 2007, 10:21 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Calculus textbooks are much more interesting and enjoyable to read :-). | Sunday, August 19, 2007, 7:47 PM CDT |

| Erwa | I'm starting to feel the pressure to complete my summer reading... | Friday, August 17, 2007, 12:53 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Note to self: Where DDR machines are present, always use the right pad when playing single or solo mode because it's more likely to be functional. | Wednesday, August 15, 2007, 1:39 PM CDT |
| Erwa | Oh...because this server is located in Texas... | Saturday, August 11, 2007, 9:49 AM CDT |

| Erwa | Yes! This form works online now - I made it PHP 4.x compatible. | Saturday, August 11, 2007, 9:45 AM CDT |
| Erwa | Um...currently this form won't work online. This server is currently running on PHP 4.x, and this form uses a built-in function only available on PHP 5.x. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will ask my cousin to upgrade his server to PHP 5.x. | Saturday, August 11, 2007, 3:59 AM EDT |
