Lucid DreamingLast night, I dreamed I was removing my retainer from my mouth. When I took it out, there was still a retainer in my mouth. So I took that one out as well. But there was yet another retainer. No matter how many retainers I took out, there was still another one. At first, I thought it was like those Russian dolls that fit inside one another, but these retainers weren't getting any smaller. Pretty soon, I realized this was impossible and that I must be dreaming! Excited, I ran out of the bathroom and the retainers instantly disappeared. I went outside and I leapt into the air, wanting to fly, and then I started flying. It was a clear, blue day, and I drifted higher and higher. I was planning to go visit Andy at Hopkins. But as I flew higher, the dream became less clear and then I woke up. I went downstairs to the kitchen and told my mom what had happened. I realized I was dreaming and didn't wake up upon the realization! I decided to fly and then I started flying. It was awesome! I forgot what happened next but eventually, I woke up for real. The dream in a dream seemed like it happened so long ago. Maybe Inception is right -- the deeper you go, the more expanded time is.
