Looks like an A2 PLL. Considering I'm just doing PLL recognition now, this solve was definitely over 20 seconds.
I'm just smiling for the picture, NOT the solve time. 21+ include baad...
4x4x4ing. From left: Ian Winokur, Bob Burton, Sr., Cory Loviglio, Tim Reynolds (you can just see the tip of his head), Jonathan Mun (I think), and Bruce Norskog. It looks like Tim is repairing a massive POP. Look at the size of Jonathan's arm muscles!
4x4x4ing. From left: Bob Burton, Sr., Ian Winokur, and Anthony Hsu.
4x4x4ing. From left: Tim Reynolds, Jonathan Mun, and Bruce Norskog. The results of the 3x3x3 speedsolve first round are up on the board.
4x4x4ing. From left: Cory Loviglio (just the top of his head), judge, Peter Greenwood, Bruce Norskog, and somebody else. Don't you just love that smiley with hair up on the board?
4x4x4ing. Anthony Hsu and a judge. It looks like I'm holding the cube pretty weirdly with my left hand, with my middle finger extending much further than my index finger and my ring finger wrapping underneath the cube. Looks like I've finished pairing up the edges and have just completed a thumb trigger.
Craig Bouchard practicing 3x3x3 blindfolded solving. He ended up DNFing (Did Not Finish) all three of his official attempts later on due to an error in one of the algorithms he was using. Up on the board, you see a provisional schedule of upcoming events: 3x3 one-handed, intermission, magic and master magic, and 5x5x5.
4x4 first round results. Top four competitors go to final round.
