Life Log

March 22, 2009 - May 23, 2009

The week before spring break, Erik Santoro asked me how I survived on such little sleep. I responded, "I don't. I probably get just as much sleep as you, just split up into many naps." But I became interested in how much I did sleep on average, so I started keeping a sleep log. Then, I thought, why not keep track of everything I did and see how much time I spend on my various activities and routine stuff. The result is this life log. I plan to create a page with just my sleep and do an analysis of both logs soon.

Besides giving the time spent in numbers, I also wanted a visual aid to help me easily identify what I was spending large chunks of time on, hence the X's and +'s.

I ran toward the table and leaped, planning to slide across on my stomatch. But when my weight came down, rather than me sliding, the table snapped in half. Poor engineering. I was okay and kept dancing.

One funny thing about this celebratory feast was the organizer (along with a whole bunch of other people) missed the bus to go to Sushi Palace twice and then decided not to come anymore and eat at a nearby Japanese restaurant instead. Fortunately for me, a group of four buddies had come earlier and I joined them and helped them clean up.
