Another piece of writing that I am submitting is a composition. It is "My Most Embarrassing Moment." I’m selecting this piece specifically because I feel that this is the best composition I wrote this year. I am submitting this piece to Boy's Life.
My name is Chris Macaluso and I am a twelve year old boy living in Whippany New Jersey. When I was younger I used to get your magazine. I love sports. I play baseball, and basketball but I am a huge football fan. I love the New York Jets. I split season tickets with my old neighbor from Mine Hill. I moved to Whippany in third grade. My last game I went to was on October 27 when they lost to Cleveland because of the horrible play calling. In baseball I like the Yankees, in basketball I like the Knicks, and I like the Devils in hockey. I go to Memorial Junior School and I get pretty good grade with A’s and B’s. In my spare time I like to watch TV and play on my computer. My favorite TV show is Sports Center. I don’t really like to read but my favorite book is Farm Team by Will Weaver. It’s about a kid who lives on a farm and when the spring time comes he plays baseball with the town team but his dad got arrested for blowing up a car lot because the owner sold them a lemon so Billy can’t go to baseball but while his dads in jail his mom and him make a baseball field and him and a bunch of his neighbors play the town team and the farm team won!!!
