Lucid Dreaming - July 2006
Back

Tuesday, July 18 - Wednesday, July 19

I was juggling one tennis ball. Chris Kuo and Anthony Kuo were there. I was trying to roll the tennis ball around my arms in a fluid circle, but I failed miserably. There was a refrigerator to my left, like I was in my kitchen. Anthony commented, "Juggling with one ball is harder than it looks."

I also played catch with Trevor Dunne. I kept overthrowing him. I would see him, analyze the distance, and then throw at a carefully measured angle, but the ball always stayed in the wind too long, carrying over his head. Also, one time when I did not catch the ball, he said, "OMG! Can you not catch a ball?" I tried throwing at a lower angle, but then the ball always hit the ground and rolled to him.

I also was the goalie in a soccer game. There was a partial breakaway on my right-hand side, and the attacker lobbed the ball over my head. It drifted towards the goal but ricocheted off the crossbar or right goal post (from my perspective), but another attacker was there and knocked it in. I turned around and the referee was waving, "No goal!" Then he said there would be a shootout. Trevor was up first against me. I said I didn't want to be the goalie because I always remember this one guy (a news reporter) who broke a rib blocking Mia Hamm's penalty kick. So a person next to me filled in.
